Wearing Our Purple Proudly

I realize that some of you are going to think that all we do is go to football games.  And sometimes that's what I think, too, because we do go to a lot of football games.  But I think we're through for the season.

Last week our Snyder Tigers got knocked out of the playoffs, and today our beloved ACU Wildcats got beat.  It was heartbreaking.  ACU had one of the best football seasons in school history and we got to be there for 8 of their 12 games.  It was very exciting!

I took a picture of the crowd today, because if you grew up going to ACU games like I did or even went to them if and when you were a student at ACU, then you would be amazed at the crowd today.  Our side was almost full.  I'm not sure that I've ever seen anything like that at an ACU football game before.

I got my camera out to take a picture of Jason announcing and Jaxon posed for me:
Then Jaxon decided that he wanted to take a picture of his daddy, so I let him. (that is why the top of his head is cut off  :-)
And then here is Jaden who was doing his very own (pretend) radio show while the game was going on.  He's got such the imagination!
We had a great time this season donning our ACU purple most every week.  Jason loved his announcing job, and Jaden, Jaxon and I loved sitting in the press box with him.  Go Wildcats!

Jaden's headset is great! I wished I could have tuned into his radio show to keep up with the score instead of checking online.

Very cute pics! I kept willing them to win today, but I guess it wasn't enough. Great season for the 'Cats! But who says there is not more football in the future!

And very cute poser and radio play-by-play announcer!
