The first one happened last Saturday when we were taking our Christmas decorations down. We had gotten everything down but the Christmas tree and as Jason started to take it apart, Jaxon said, "Daddy, why are you doin' dat?" Jason said, "Because Christmas is over."
Jaxon: "No it not."
Jason: "Yes, it is."
Jaxon: "No. Not yet."
Jason: "Yes. Remember we already opened all our presents."
After this went on for a few minutes, I think Jaxon finally gave up. Later that evening, we opened the garage door to go somewhere in the van. The across-the-street neighbors still had their Christmas lights on. Jaxon said very emphatically: "See, Daddy, I told you Mismas was not over."
Then today, Jaden came up to Jason and said, "Dad -- isn't it 2009 now?" Jason said, "Yes, it is." And with a very big smile on his face he said, "I just realized something. I get to go to school THIS year!" And then he ran off very excitedly with the big smile still on his face.

I'm just now catching up on everything, even though I was there for some of it. You do such a great job of keeping this up, so you have inspired me. I'm going to try to get our blog up and going, but I'm not committing to a date, I'll just let you know when it's ready. Love you, Tami
