Jaden and Daddy Fun!

Jason had an idea several months ago to take Jaden on a little father/son before school trip. I thought it was a great idea. He let Jaden in on the idea and told him he could pick anywhere he wanted to go. Jaden said, "Anywhere?" Jason said, "Anywhere -- within reason." Jaden said, "I want to go to Disney World." Jason said, "That's not within reason. Let's pick somewhere in Texas." So, of course Jaden picked a Texas Rangers game. After all, he is Jason's kid. :-)

So, here is an account of what they did written by Jaden (with a little help from me). Enjoy!

Me and my Daddy went on a trip and had lots of fun. Wednesday we left Snyder and drove to Bedford to our hotel. After we checked in, we unloaded the car and went to the Texas Rangers game. When we got to the Ranger game, we found our seats which were 10 rows up from the bottom. The seats were great!

Here is my game face:

We were excited to see Pudge Rodriguez play in his first game back with the Rangers. He did a good job -- he was 3 for 4.

Thursday we got up, ate breakfast, and went to a place called Mountasia Family Fun Center. First, we played two rounds of putt-putt. Then we went for a go-kart ride that was kind of like a race and we won it, kinda. Then, we played arcade games inside.

Thursday afternoon, we went to meet Uncle Jeff and my cousin Cody at Main Event in Grapevine. We ate lunch with them at Spring Creek Barbecue. After lunch, we went to our hotel to rest for a little bit and then we all four went to the Ranger game.

Cody and I got to play games in centerfield and we both got tattoos. Here is Cody getting ready to hit:
And here I am playing in the outfield:

Our seats were really cool! They were on the second row right next to the Rangers dugout. It was really neat to get to see all the players so close.
Cody and I got our hats signed by Omar Vizquel and Tommy Hunter.
Here is a picture of us with Tommy Hunter. Cool, huh?

Then I got two baseballs -- one from the Twins first base coach and one from Kevin Millwood. Cody got a baseball from Omar Vizquel.

Also, since I was singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and Rangers Captain saw me singing, he threw me a real Michael Young jersey. It's a little big, but I'll grow into it someday.

Here I am pointing to Kevin Millwood after he threw me the ball.
That game was so fun, I want to sit there again and this time take Mommy and Jaxon. The Rangers won this game 11-1! And it was so cool -- I'll never forget it!

Friday, before Dad and I headed home, we went to Main Event and bowled 3 games and played some more arcade games. Once we got home, I was really happy to see Jaxon and Mommy.
