Go Rangers!

So, this is a continuation from the previous post.  Our weekend was not over with the Titanic going down! Oh, no!  We had tickets to the Rangers game on Sunday and because they decided not to win on Saturday, we got to use them...unfortunately.  We would have taken a sweep of the Rays, but it didn't happen, so we got to enjoy the playoff atmosphere at The Ballpark in Arlington!  Woo-hoo!

It's Time...or it's supposed to be!  :-)

We are big Texas Rangers fans and have watched them for years and are so excited to see them in the playoffs!  I mean, I would put my 4-year-old and 7-year-old up against any kid who can name the players, numbers, position and even batting order.  They know it all and love to watch the Rangers!

So, making the trek with us (and a trek it was considering how far away we had to park) was:

Rick and Kellye...

Poppa and Memaw made it back from their cruise just in time...

And us, of course...

Here is Kellye and Jaden donning the antlers and claw, which you probably won't know what that means unless your a Ranger fan.

The big American flag in centerfield for the National Anthem, which was sung by Neil McCoy...

And then the ROWDY RAGS!  Everyone got one of these as we entered the stadium.  The excitement of the crowd was great and hard to explain in writing.  It was just fun to be there!

This is what getting up before 7 a.m. will do to a 4-year-old.  He took a nice little nap...

And here's the whole group...

As hard as we tried, we could not help the Rangers get a win that day.  It was still fun to be there!  And tonight, we will be rooting from Snyder, Texas.  Go Rangers!
