It's like riding a bike...

Actually, it IS riding a bike!

We got Jaden a bike for his birthday, but didn't get to let him pick one out until our trip to Austin.  So, he came home with a new bike.  A big bike.  No training wheels.  Fun!

He was a little overwhelmed at first.  He had tried to ride his smaller bike without training wheels, but just couldn't get it.  But he was excited about getting a new one and trying it again.

Here is Dad helping him by hanging on.  He was a little nervous about us letting go.

But when Jason finally did, Jaden got it!

And kept getting it!  He was so excited!

Jaxon decided that since big brother didn't have training wheels, he didn't need them either.  So, we took his off.  The difference between them is -- Jaxon does NOT want any help.  And as much as we tried to help him so he would get it, he insisted on doing it "BY MYSELF!" 

So, we let him and he almost got it.

But not quite.  There is no doubt in my mind that I will be writing soon about Jaxon getting it though.  It won't be long.

In the meantime, I guess he thinks it's just quicker to get off his bike and run along side Jaden.
