Who Doesn't Love a Parade?

Well...probably a lot of people.  But we do!  So, we went with Nana and Pawpaw to the West Texas Fair and Rodeo parade in Abilene on Saturday.  There were horses, cars, bands and horses, cars, bands and horses, cars, bands -- get the idea?  It was fun and the boys really enjoyed it!

Yesterday, they had their own parade.  They were both drummers in the imaginary band.  (I for one am glad the band was imaginary, because it would have been entirely too loud and crowded seeing how it all took place in our living room.)  They walked around humming the Snyder fight song while beating on their drums. :-)

That's great... sorry I wasn't there to march in the grand 'ole parade! I used to for four years, but oh well! Sounds like they are going to be in band! YEAH! Love it!

What a fun day we had--the parade, the fair (with NO parents:-) ) and riding rides. It was a day to remember with those boys!! Can't wait until next year. Maybe Cody can go with us too.
