I've got to share some sweet things Jaxon has said lately.
A couple of weeks ago, Jaxon came in the room where I was after I did something for him (don't remember what -- but it doesn't matter). He said "I love you, Mommy!" and gave me a big Jaxon hug. Then he said, "You're the best mommy I ever had!" :-)
Then, just recently, Jaxon has gotten to where when I say "I love you" -- he'll say, "I love you more!" Well, the other night I was lying in his bed with him and we got into a little "debate" over this.
We have a book that is called I Love You More, so I usually quote a line or two from that book. It'll go something like this --
Jaxon: I love you.
Mommy: I love you, too!
Jaxon: I love you more!
Mommy: I don't think so.
Jaxon: Uh-huh.
Mommy: I love you bigger than the biggest flower ever grew.
Jaxon: Well, I love you more than the whole earth.
You know, this could go on for a while. So the other night this dialogue was added --
Mommy: I love you higher than the highest rocket ever flew.
Jaxon: Well, I love you bigger than all the earth and all of outer space!
Then he paused...and said, "You can't beat that, Mommy! Can you?!"
No, I can't my sweet boy. No, I can't.
