What do you do on a Snow Day when there is no school? Play in the snow, of course!
If I'm not mistaken, I think this is Jaxon's FIRST time playing in the snow. As you know, where we live we don't get much snow, and so far he hasn't ever been interested in bundling up and getting out in the cold. But today he was very excited to do so, and so were Jaden and I!
Here's Jaxon's first taste of snow and Jaden's not first taste of snow.
Here are their snow "creations" which may be a little hard to see. Jaxon's is a snow tree. Jaden's is a snow mountain.
And of course we had a snowball fight...
And made snow angels...
Let me introduce our new friend, Henry the snowman. Yes, he's short because the boys got a little bored with the building of the snowman, but I was determined we were going to have one.
And then, when we weren't outside playing or playing inside, we finished the Valentines for Jaden's class party tomorrow. The girls get the cute sucker flowers on the left and the boys get the robots on the right. They were fun, but glad they're done!

CUTE Valentines, Jami! So fun!
I had to laugh when I saw the bags on their feet because that brought back so many memories for me. Whenever it snowed when I was growing up (in Austin...it was so rare), my mom would put old bread bags on my feet (she saved them in the winter for this purpose). I always ran around in the yard with my rubber-banded bread bag snow shoes! There's not much point to owning snow boots in Texas!
Cute pics!
